Small, quiet & good management. Affordable rates & cozy studio style rooms with kitchenette. TV/Fridge incl. Great place to stay if you just need a night or even a week.
Found this little gem. From about 1960 I believe. Clean and absolutely adorable. Good price and very quiet. Had my own kitchen, can use the laundry facilities, and the staff was very friendly! Highly recommend if you’re into places like this! Gotta love the sign :)
The Historic Starlight Motel is an 'old style' motel that has been renovated to restore the look and luster of times past. Located on old U.S. 60 (Main Street) in Mesa, AZ, the renovated rooms have hardwood flooring, a pedestal bathroom sink, an efficiency kitchen with a table, refrigerator and microwave, a large flat screen TV, and a carport. I find this to be a very friendly comfortable place to rest and relax.
I love this place, the longest me and my husband has ever stayed at a Motel. Friendly staff and the room are clean. I have not seen 1 bug since we been there!!!!! We have been there for 4 months
Quaint, clean and tidy community feeling. Great staff, rooms have kitchens. Quite dark there in early morning hours, not well lit. No frills kind of place.
Been here off and on throughout the years and I've never had a negative experience. It's always been what it's supposed to be. A place to lay your head and get cleaned up. Staff has never been rude with me. Plus I like the historical element also. Specifically the lady diving sign. It was an icon that's stood since the 1960's. I think the closest motel headed east was the Buckhorn Baths. Anyway I give 5 stars.
The beds we're so comfortable compared to places we stayed before but the floors could be mopped better. I booked a non smoking room but was told when I got there that they had just gave away the last non smoking room. I would recommend people to stay. We had our children with us and there was plenty of room for them to play. Downfall no pool!!
I've stayed at this motel more than once because it's very similar to an extended stay hotel, without the price or "fancy commodities". It feels like home, like a studio apartment. A comfortable bed, a small kitchenette (fridge, microwave, stove top & full cupboard space) a TV with about 200 channels, cold A/C unit, 2 nightstands, a table and chair in the living/bed area & a small pub style table with two chairs in kitchen. The bathroom has a shower with tub, a wall mounted blow dryer and shelving for your toiletries. Small, privately owned and managed motel, staff are friendly and professional. Laundry facilities on site if needed. Covered and uncovered parking spaces. Overall a clean and quiet place to sleep for the night or week (weekly rates). No bugs, bed bugs or roaches either! :) I'll be staying here again.
Didin't stay here....so I can't really comment on the rooms, service, or location. Just here to photograph the vintage signage, which is well maintained and amazing.
Ive only visited a girlfriend of mine who was staying here while in town, but it was clean, quite and she seemed to like it. She stayed for 2 weeks so it couldn't be that bad. :) Seemed a good value for the money she spent
